Afterglow
A dot-matrix light panel you play in your browser.
What you can do
Mix two patterns
Pick two of over 30 patterns, blend them, mirror them into a kaleidoscope and choose one of nine colour palettes.
Change the panel
Show the same scene on colour LEDs, a flip-dot board like an old train sign, or a VFD, the glowing display of old hi-fi gear.
Let it follow the music
Tap Listen and the lights move to what is playing. In the Android app they follow the phone’s own audio, Bluetooth included.
Save and share
Keep the looks you make, and send them to anyone
Without an account, the looks you save stay in this browser. With a free account they get a page of their own.
- Your page lives at
afterglow.wolschon.dedyn.io/u/yourname, with a picture of every look. Anyone with the link can open a look in the panel and keep playing with it. - Your looks follow you, so the ones you made on a laptop are on your phone too.
